12-Year-Old Getting Death Threats Over Hunting Photos; She’s Not Backing Down

Young Aryanna Gourdin is getting daily threats, some including death threats on her big game hunting photos via her Facebook page. this young lady is not only standing strong in her beliefs, but she’s also got a message for those who want to intimidate her.

Countries have to kill out some animals because of over populating. If she buys her license, it helps out financially, and it keeps down the cost of the country/region having to foot the bill to do it. Plus she gets in her hunting, even if she does it for sport.

All countries do this. It’s a win-win seeing as they must kill some animals. People need to get a grip or get a life of their own.

From Daily Mail:

A 12-year-old girl who was bashed online for posting pictures of her big game kills is speaking out to defend her love of hunting.

Aryanna Gourdin sparked outrage last week when she posted pictures of the animals she killed on an African safari with her dad, including a giraffe, a zebra, and a wildebeest.

Those pictures quickly incited a firestorm online between commenters who called the girl a ‘murderer’ and those who defended the girl’s right to hunt.

In an interview with Good Morning America on Wednesday, Aryanna said she’s not bothered by the backlash, and that no one’s opinion could ever drive her to give up the hobby she loves.’

It’s something I cherish and enjoy and I want other people to see what I experienced,’ the teen said.

‘I would never back down from hunting. I am a hunter and no matter what people say to me, I’m never going to stop,’ she added.

Watch Aryanna speak on this topic:

Hunting to feed people should be acceptable. All countries should make hunters get a permit saying where the meat will go to feed people. Not just allow a hunt as a sport. I do realize it helps control population of wildlife which is needed at times. I love all animals but if they weren’t hunted they would over populate us in many cases.
