ALEPPO! Libertarian Gary Johnson Candidacy Just Went Up In Flames After This Interview!

If this makes the situation better I didn’t know anything about Aleppo either but I’m not running for president of United States. Libertarian candidate Gary Johnson appeared on MSNBC’s Morning Joe and was asked a question about Aleppo, the epicenter of the Syrian crisis, by Mike Barnicle who sat on the roundtable panel.

Johnson seemed lost when he responded what Aleppo is. Barnacle was shocked when he responded to Johnson “You’re kidding?” Things took a downward spiral after that.

Watch the interview exchange here below:

After the interview was over, Mark Halperin caught up with Johnson and held in an impromptu interview asking Johnson if he knew the huge mess that he was now in after the Aleppo mistake.

Watch that interview here below this:

Again I didn’t know anything about Aleppo, but now I do. I guess if you are running for the highest office in the land can you could commit troops to that region you would have to know about the epicenter where things are happening.

You could see in Johnson’s face he was more hurt than embarrassed, and you could feel for him on this one. I am not sure if he will survive after this as even my candidate had a few miscues but we shall see.

Joe Scarborough just responded to Johnson’s miscue and wasn’t kind:

Can Johnson come back from this? We shall see, but if 24/7 news cycles get a hold of this, Johnson could be through.
