Can’t watch the Superbowl on TV? Here are ways to watch free and legal

For those of you who can’t make it to a Super Bowl party on Sunday, and/or don’t have a television, fear not — unlike most major sporting events, you won’t have to go to a sports bar or use shady streaming sites to join in. There are free, LEGAL options for live streaming the game this year. Because NBC is broadcasting the game this year (FOX had it in 2014 and also live stream’d the game on their site), you can watch the pre-game, game, halftime show ft. Katy Perry and post-game all on their official website.

NBC’s Sports Live Extra: You can watch via the NBC Sports Live Extra website or on your tablet via the NBC Sports Live Extra apps for Android and iOS. This will NOT work for mobile devices like phones, however.

If you want it on your phone, you’re in luck if you’re a Verizon subscriber: Use the NFL Mobile apps for iPhoneAndroidWindows Phone and Blackberry.

If you’re abroad: You’ll want NFL Game pass, which is available for $54.99 for those outside the U.S/Mexico.

For commercials, check out Hulu and YouTube.
