GOP candidate Dr. Ben Carson appeared on MSNBC’s Morning Joe Friday to discuss his campaign strategy in South Carolina. He was asked about his feud with Ted Cruz over the Iowa caucus result is now “water under the bridge,” and said said he thinks the people of South Carolina will “understand” him.
I think Cruz is staying in the race takes votes from Dr. Ben Carson.
Remember, Carson is the only candidate ever to beat Trump in the national polls if only for a couple of weeks.
Cruz has NEVER beaten Trump in the national polls. Ever. Carson did it several times. Why would we ask the only candidate with half a chance at beating Trump to drop out and give his votes to the only candidate guaranteed not to win in November?

With so many candidates dropping out, the votes have consolidated, and Cruz STILL can’t break out. I am not sure if anyone noticed this and I wouldn’t expect the Cruz supporters to even care but facts are facts.
