Conservative Women: Beating The Odds

The Left loves to portray Republicans as the “Old White Guy” Party, and that they are engaged in a “war on women”.

This is amusing, coming from the same people who attacked Sarah Palin on everything from her wardrobe and looks, to making sure the American people saw her as a ditz who did not read the “correct” newspapers and magazines.

It is not a secret that Republicans need a lot of work in their outreach to minorities and women. But the 2014 mid-terms could change all of that in a big way. GOP Candidates like Erika Harold of Illinois, Mia Love of Utah, and Marilinda Garcia of New Hampshire are poised to smash the old white guy image of the Republican Party to bits in November.

Harold, a former Miss America was called vicious names by fellow Republicans in her home state. Love, the Mayor of Saratoga Springs, a town of about 18,000, has been attacked for her interracial marriage by anonymous cowards on the internet. The tone of these postings has appeared to be Left wing in nature. Garcia was dubbed “lightweight” and “Kim Kardashian” by a Democratic State Rep. whom she serves with in the Granite State.

While Liberal Democratic women are preoccupied with issues such as abortion and birth control, and how to get the American people to pay for them, Conservative women are focusing on common issues like the economy, jobs, and ongoing conflict in the Middle East.

These smart, on the ball Conservative women should make this year’s election cycle fun to watch. What will be most fun however, is watching Martha McSally, U.S. House Candidate in Arizona’s second district, and a U.S. Air Force veteran with 22 years active duty, including  time in Saudi Arabia, tell Democrats about the real war on women.

About Becky Noble

My name is Becky Noble. I am married to Randy. No kids, just a 50lb Border Collie mix who thinks my house is hers! After almost thirty years in the healthcare field, it is time to move on, and do something different. I hope to have a career in politics. Don't know whether that will continue to be writing and hosting "Conservative Cauldron Radio" on WAARadio on Fridays, or perhaps one day running for office. I am excited to pursue a new path!
