Cruz: With two names on ballot at convention, naturally I’ll get Kasich, Rubio delegates

GOP Candidate Sen. Ted Cruz joined conservative radio talk show host Mark Levin on his radio show on Monday afternoon to talk about the GOP convention delegates and what he expected on the second ballot if Trump does not win on the first ballot.

Cruz is confident that Trump will not win the required 1237 delegates to secure the GOP nomination leaving the convention to then go to a second ballot where he thinks he will pick up Gov. John Kasich and Sen. Marco Rubio ‘s delegates.

From Cruz:

We need to follow the rules, and under the rules, if no one gets to 1237 delgates –if nobody wins a majority before the convention– then there are going to be two names on the ballot. My name and Donald Trump’s name. And the convention will be decided by whoever can earn a majority of the delegates who were elected by the people. I think if we get to that situation, a contested convention, I think we will be in a very strong position to win a majority, become the nominee, and go on to defeat Hillary Clinton in November…

Where are the Rubio and Kasich delegates going to go? I think they naturally come to us.

Do you think after everything has happened, Rubio and Kasich delegates will automatically go to Cruz? Share you comments (below) and let us know what you think.
