Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee In Iowa Puts Eggs in One Basket

WAAR DECISION DESK 2014Will Iowa go Red? It might. Democrat Pat Murphy is running against Republican Rod Blum in the state of Iowa, and this has the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC) up in arms.

This past Monday, the DCCC invested $600,000 of airtime in the Cedar Rapids area, which is currently the seat held by Democrat Bruce Braley.

Is the DCCC putting all of their eggs in one basket? It appears to be their current position in Iowa’s race.

Bruce Braley is running for Senate against Republican Joni Ernst, who is leading this race, but only by a narrow margin.

Murphy is running to replace Braley, which is a seat he is vacating. That is if he wins the midterm election.

Many Democrats are distancing themselves from Obama and the topics of ObamaCare, Benghazi and the potential war in the Middle East.

The once inspiring “Hope and Change” and “Yes We Can” slogans from the 2008 and 2012 elections were empty, hallow promises.

The Democrats may have won by a landslide in 2010, which was a gain of 14 seats in Congress. To maintain their hold on the Senate, the DCCC needs to gain 17 seats in Congress to take it back from the Republicans. The Republican party must pick up a minimum of 5 seats on November 04, 2014 to take back the Senate.

The midterm 2014 election is looking good for Republicans in Iowa.

America’s heartland cannot function and prosper as blue states. More and more Americans are realizing that Democrats cannot be trusted.

This last Friday, Sen. Marco Rubio (R) announced that he is to campaign in North East Iowa with Rod Blum in late October.

The battle for the Congressional control will be settled in the next few weeks. Make your voice heard and VOTE on November 4th.
