Presidential candidates Ted Cruz and Marco Rubio are getting praise for slamming the moderators last night during the CNBC GOP Debate but this nugget can’t go unnoticed.
Front-runner Donald Trump closed the door on CNBC debate moderator Becky Quick’s “gotcha question” Wednesday night, when he originally denied Quick’s statement that he has been critical of Mark Zuckerberg’s immigration stance.
Quick decided to double down on the question — asking where she would have heard such a claim — but Trump’s was EPIC as it drew embarrassing laughs from the audience.
QUICK: You have been very critical of Mark Zuckerberg of Facebook who has wanted to increase these number of H1b —
TRUMP: I was not at all critical of him. In frank, he’s complaining that we’re losing some of the best people … I am all in favor of keeping these talented people here so they can go to work in Silicon Valley.
QUICK: So where did I read this and come up with this you’re —
TRUMP: Probably, I don’t know. You people write this stuff.
