Regardless of which side one’s opinion falls in the Trayvon Martin case, one thing is undeniable. George Zimmerman has some serious issues. In the latest incident involving Zimmerman on Monday, fellow motorist Matthew Apperson allegedly took out a gun and shot at Zimmerman in what is being described as a road rage incident. Some reports have stated that Apperson told a witness that this was his third confrontation with Zimmerman in recent months.
Police were called to one such confrontation last September, after Apperson and Zimmerman were involved in what neighbors described as a “shouting match”. After their confrontation on Monday, Apperson’s attorney stated that his client fired his gun in self-defense, while Zimmerman’s attorney claims his client never displayed a gun at any point during the confrontation.[twitter-follow @PaulaRich=PaulaRich]
While Apperson has been arrested six times for charges which include drug possession and DUI, it seems that trouble follows George Zimmerman everywhere he goes. There is a reason for that. He’s a full-blown wackaroon. He tried to become a police officer, and they turned him down. Apparently, they could see him for what he is… a menace. He has been accused of several assaults against the women in his life, destructive behavior, one previous confrontation with Apperson, and now this latest incident, all of which occurred after the killing of Trayvon Martin.
Exactly what the nature of Zimmerman’s relationship is to Apperson is unclear. Perhaps, the old saying, “Birds of a feather flock together,” is true in this case, and Zimmerman’s chickens are coming home to roost.
