Do you know what’s sad? If he hadn’t said this, I wouldn’t have done a story on him.
I don’t hear that much about Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal. When I’ve seen him on TV a few times, he seems as if he can carry the mantle of conservative like a few others but then after the debate is over..he’s gone.
I understand with GOP presidential front-runner Donald Trump getting all the media due, in large part to the fact they are trying to destroy him (sarcasm, I think,) Jindal has decided to take a new approach but we’re not sure that’s going to work.
“I realize that the best way to make news is to mention Donald Trump. That’s the gold standard for making news these days,” Jindal said in an email sent to supporters, Mediaite reports. “So, I’ve decided to randomly put his name into my remarks at various points, thereby ensuring that the news media will cover what I have to say.”
As of today, Jindal is stuck among the bottom of the 17-candidate GOP political field and invoking Trump’s name seems to be the sure way of getting notice but look at Texas Governor Rick Perry. He’s been using Trump’s name for a while now, and he’s along the bottom with Jindal.
Taking on his best Donald Trump phraseology, Jindal plans to say, “Let’s tell the truth here — this crop of Democrat candidates is terribly weak. It’s a joke. It’s a complete disaster for the Democratic Party, also did I mention Donald Trump?”
Hopefully, his strategy works for him and if it doesn’t, he put up a good fight right?
