If there is one thing you can count on, that’s Sheriff David Clarke speaking what’s on his mind and holding public figures accountable, as we all should.
A few days ago, Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton joined urban Power 105.1’s “The Breakfast Club” and while being interviewed, she mentioned “hot sauce” is what she carries everywhere with her.
Sheriff Clarke saw her answer was “dehumanizing,” and “disgusting.”
I’m surprised she didn’t say watermelon — just go all the way in,” Clarke said. “This stuff is dehumanizing. It’s embarrassing. It’s disgusting. And if any other candidate were to say something like that, some stereotype about black people, it would derail their campaign. But the rules seem to be different for the Clintons. You know, the folks she was being interviewed by, they saw right through it. That’s why they said they’re going to accuse you of pandering. They know it. Black people know they’re being pandered to. Nothing had gotten better.
Do you think Hillary’s response was racist? Do you feel she was pandering to the black audience? What would you do to call her out? Share your comments below and add this to your Facebook/Twitter page.
