How can Obama and Kerry keep ignoring these latest unpopular numbers for Iran deal?

As a representative of the people you are responsible for listening to them to make informed decision that will affect them and their everyday lives, not what you personally think.

This has been a problem with many lawmakers sent to Congress. They believe they become GODs when they visit Mt Olympus (House of Representatives, Senate.) The Obama administration was heralded as something different, a change from the norm but they have turned out to be one of the most polarizing administrations ever.

American voters oppose the Iran nuclear agreement by a two-to-one margin, with 57% in opposition and just 28% in support, according to the latest Quinnipiac University poll released today.

A similar margin, 58%, said the pact will make the world less safe.

Republican voters are the leading opponents of the deal, 86%-3%, while Democrats support it 52%-32%. Independents support it 55%-29%.

“There’s not a lot of love for the proposed nuclear deal with Iran. Only a bare majority of Democrats support the pact,” said Tim Malloy, assistant director of the Quinnipiac University Poll.

Congress is expected to vote on the deal by a Sept. 17 deadline. House Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy, R-Calif., said Republicans are likely to put a resolution of disapproval on the floor to block the deal.

Obama promised veto any legislation aiming to block the deal so it’s a game of chicken to see who blinks first I guess. The administration has lobbied Democrats to support the deal and block a potential veto override.
