Someone send help! The Democrats are destroying the State of Maryland piece by piece.
Governor Martin O’Malley has decided that this is it. This is his shot to run for the President of the United States in 2016. He has already carved up the districts for Democrats over the past 2-3 years using gerrymandering. He has championed casinos into the state to raise money for schools even though the Federal Government gives the state money each year. They have passed legislation for same-sex marriage, which I am still trying to understand how that happened in this state. Depending on who you speak to, Maryland is considered part of the bible belt but yet during the last election the majority of Marylanders said they favored same-sex marriage…..I don’t believe it one bit.
This 15-year old American silenced the legislators a couple of days ago and the heavily seated Democratic Senate wouldn’t even listen to reason.
Yesterday, April 4, 2013 The Maryland Senate approve some of the most hardest hitting gun restriction laws in the nation.
Maryland will become the first state in nearly 20 years to require potential handgun buyers to submit fingerprints to state police. Only five other states have a similar requirement: Connecticut, Hawaii, Massachusetts, New York and New Jersey.
I consider myself behind enemy lines here in this American state because it’s been destroyed by Democrats. It’s run by Democrats. They have changed voting districts to keep Democrats in power and this is not right.
Gun control advocates say the fingerprinting requirement will help keep guns away from criminals, because it will make people reluctant to buy firearms for those who are not allowed to have them. Opponents say the bill erodes Second Amendment rights and ultimately penalizes law-abiding citizens without focusing on lawbreakers.
Although the measure bans 45 types of assault weapons, people who own them now will be able to keep them. People who order the weapons before Oct. 1, when the law would take effect, also would be able to keep them.[fbcomments]
