Only one day after the California attack by Muslim Terrorists, U.S. Attorney General Loretta Lynch encouraged the Justice Department to take “aggressive action” against those whose anti-Muslim speech “edges towards violence.”
“WHAT” asks Joe Walsh and much of the civilized world. This is the kind of twisted logic that leaves the citizens of this country asking ‘What The Hell Is Going On?”
Lynch’s comments got former U.S. Representative Joe Walsh, R-Ill., all fired up. Walch called Lynch out in this video where he exercised his First Amendment rights and challenged her to follow through on her threat. After pointing out the absurdity of her ‘logic’ he points his finger at her and challenges her directly saying:
“I think Islam has a real freaking problem, all right? There is a cancer in Islam, and if they’re not going to learn to assimilate, I don’t want them in this country.”
Walsh then challenged Lynch to follow through on her threat by giving her the “perfect opportunity” to throw him in jail for his anti-Muslim comments saying, “I think Islam is evil. I think Islam’s got a huge problem. I think most Muslims around the world are not compatible with American values. I don’t want them here.”
Walsh called out Lynch for saying that her “greatest fear” after 14 Americans were killed was an anti-Muslim backlash. He said he hoped there was a backlash because there “should be a backlash” and he was going to “encourage a backlash.”
Right or wrong, in this country, everyone has a right to express their views, including Joe Walsh and every other citizen who has an opinion . . . whether it agrees with those on the hill, or not.
