Kentucky Senate Candidate Allison Grimes Shows Her Hypocrisy

10723274_848593601858865_1757633946_nAllison Grimes, the Democrat Senate candidate for Kentucky, has advocated for raising the minimum wage throughout her campaign against Mitch McConnell. She has said “I’m fighting for all Kentuckians, all working Americans across this nation. I don’t believe $7.25 an hour raises a family of four above the poverty level.”

The only problem is that the restaurant her family owns pays their staff minimum wage, according to documents. CNN went on to ask her about this, and of course, she responds by saying ‘my family is not in this race.’ If she wants to talk politics, then her actions should back it up.

This isn’t the only issue that Grimes has dodged. Because she has tried to distance herself from Obama and presents herself as pro-gun and for coal and energy, Grimes has been asked numerous times whether she voted for Obama in 2008 and 2012. With no surprise, she refuses to answer the question on multiple occasions.

Going back to her comments on minimum wage, Grimes said she is fighting for all Kentuckians. This again isn’t true, because she is also pro-abortion, which gives no voice for the unborn. If she wants to fight for all, then she needs to support all life, from conception to natural death.

So Kentuckians need to ask themselves these questions when they vote at the polls:

Can I trust someone who says they want to raise minimum wage, but not for their own restaurant?

Can I trust someone who won’t say whether they voted for Obama or not?

Can I trust someone who says they support all Kentuckians, except for the unborn?

If I lived in Kentucky, I would say no to all these questions, and I hope most Kentuckians agree on November 4th.
