So Bill Kristol’s 3rd Party candidate is someone that works at the Weekly Standard??!!
Before we move on to the Republican National Convention, I hope someone revokes Kristol’s pass. Hopefully, he won’t be attending. Of all the people in the Republican Party, Kristol wants to run David French, a who’s who of who to the American people. He has no name recognition, no major achievements, no experience of running an executive office and the answer is still NO!
Sorry Mr. French (feel like I am watching Family Affair), this is not personal but don’t let Kristol drag you to the wolves.
From The Hill:
Bloomberg Politics reported that Weekly Standard editor Bill Kristol and others are eyeing David French, a constitutional lawyer and veteran, to run for president.
Kristol has dropped hints of late about efforts to organize an independent candidate to block Trump from winning the White House.
French is an Iraq War veteran and a staff writer at the National Review. His biography on the conservative publication’s website says he is a graduate of Harvard Law School, and has worked for a variety of right-wing think tanks and advocacy organizations.
Neither Kristol nor French commented on the report, and it is unclear whether the French has signed on for an independent run.
Trump campaign social media director Dan Scavino appeared to mock the report in a tweet posted moments after the news emerged:

My sense is much of the commentary isn't really about David French. More about implausibility of choice after so much hype.

David French defended the Muslim ban and the Confederate flag. Isn't this against muh constitutional consistency? https://t.co/z40yK7B77D

Bill Kristol should have convinced John Doe to run instead of David French. At least people have heard that name before.
