Liberal Leaning CNN Candy Crowley has decided to Re-Write Moderator responsibility before Tomorrow Debate
Via Politico - The town-hall debate is the one presidential face-off in which the audience gets to ask the questions. But don’t tell that to moderator Candy Crowley.
Like any journalist worthy of the assignment, Crowley concedes that the debate on Tuesday night isn’t about her, but she just as eagerly acknowledges her role in it.
“I understand that I’m there. I’m not a fly on the wall,” she told POLITICO recently. “We don’t want the candidates to spout talking points. That doesn’t help voters … I’m going to react organically to what’s happening.”
In a move that has unnerved both campaigns, Crowley, the host of CNN’s “State of the Union,” is indicating she intends to play an active role in a debate meant to be dictated by an audience of independent voters.
“Once the table is kind of set by the town hall questioner, there is then time for me to say, ‘Hey, wait a second, what about x, y, z?’,” Crowley told CNN earlier this month.
My Take: This is what happens when you, once again, have liberals changing the rules mid-stream to consider themselves more important than who they really are. Candy Crowley has decided to make this debate about her and both of the campaigns are actually not happy about it. Journalist today, especially on CNN and MSNBC have strayed away from being protectors of free speech, becoming the trumpet for the Obama administration policies and weekly news dumps.
I am sure that you have heard how Candy interviews Democrats and Republicans. It’s actually sickening and unfair in many individual’s eyes but she keeps her job. I will be watching her make a complete joke of herself tomorrow night. I hope you will be too. FYI: Crowley’s aggressive approach is not without precedent. During 2008’s town-hall debate, NBC’s Tom Brokaw re-worded many of the questions from the audience, and was criticized for it.

I know shes a Lefty, but I hope she Takes a Responsable Role in doing the Right thing when she does Her Job! I wish someone would Just take us back to the days of Real Journos and not those who are Bought and Paid for by ONE SIDE of the Isle!
If you judge a person by his past then Romney will be in big trouble.
Romney’s past is he’s been a successful business man who has built companies and helped them create jobs and employees make money. Obama’s past 4 years have crushed this country, so he failed.

Which begs the bigger question is why the Republicans agreed to have this 800lbs elephant be the moderator ? I am just a layman not accessible to all the behind the curtain negotiations.

The Charlie Brown Party docilely sets themselves and their candidates up for one ambush after another, one fiasco after another, one backstab after another … and so no one should be surprised at anything that that transpires. I smell a huge setup in the works and the feckless GOP just sits there like addicts od’d on the great White Horse.
Im about as solid pro romney, pro republican as you can get but candy crowley is not a liberal. If she has any bias it is slightly pro romney bias. The media is obviously liberally biased but on this one you’ve gone too far.
