GOP candidate Marco Rubio just released a new ad pointed towards the evangelicals in Iowa, where he is currently running 3rd to Donald Trump and Ted Cruz.
Trump has mentioned that he is very Christian on occasions while Cruz spits out Bible verses and passages like he’s preaching to the crowd. Rubio needs to make up ground in a hurry. He’s picked up endorsements from Rep Trey Gowdy and Rep Jason Chaffetz, and now he’s reaching out to on a personal scale but is it too much?
The people of Iowa do not want another pastor; they want a president who will try to help fix the economy and change the conditions of America so the man on the ground will have a better shot of making it.
If they want a sermon, there are many churches to attend, I am sure of it.
“Our goal is eternity, the ability to live alongside our Creator and for all time, to accept the free gift of salvation offered to us by Jesus Christ. The struggle on a daily basis as a Christian is to remind ourselves of this. The purpose of our life is to cooperate with God’s plan. To those who much has been given, much is expected, and we will be asked to account for that. Were your treasures stored up on earth or in Heaven? And to me, I try to allow that to influence me in everything that I do.”
