With Pope Francis’s climate change encyclical expected to be released on Thursday, progressives wasted no time supporting it, only because it’s an issue they happen to support.

Now compare this to when the issue is abortion.

ThinkProgress should be reminded that Pope Francis is against abortion, and wouldn’t use the term “anti-abortion.”
In fact, ThinkProgress once again takes the pope’s words out of context, such as shown below in their 2013 tweet.

You know what would really upset progressives? Using their same talking point against them, claiming they’re too “obsessed” with climate change and the green agenda.

But once again, a different picture when it comes to abortion.

Mother Jones uses the term “climate change denier” again.
— Mother Jones (@MotherJones) June 12, 2015
Logically, since Mother Jones condones abortion and same sex marriage, would it make sense to call them “pro-life deniers” or “Pope Francis deniers?” After all, the pope does not support abortion or same-sex marriage. Unlike climate change, in which the science is not settled, the science behind abortion already has been. Human life begins at conception.
I am always amazed at how many on both sides, but most especially liberals, will praise Pope Francis for opposing “climate change” but ignore him when it comes to abortion, euthanasia, or same sex marriage. These tweets were just a few of the countless examples.
