My View Of Dinesh D’Souza’s ‘America’ Film

On Independence Day, I viewed Dinesh D’Souza’s ‘America’ documentary, and it is by far one of the best I’ve ever seen. He definitely hit a homerun with this, and went above and beyond to make it a thriller.

In this film, D’Souza goes through a list of indictments that anti-Americans make against this country and does an excellent job debunking each one of them. For example, a couple of the claims include America taking land from Mexico, and America stealing resources from other countries to build itself up.

What is even more remarkable is D’Souza interviews some of these individuals who feel America is a disgrace and they explain why they think so in their interviews. At some points through the film I just wanted to yell at the screen with these anti-Americans out of frustration, so this was anything but a boring film. The scary part is that the ideology of these American haters seeps in our education curriculum and brainwashing kids by the millions.

Just like in the previous film, ‘2016: Obama’s America’, there were segments of Obama and his plan to continue the downfall of America, but also focused on Hillary Clinton and how Saul Alinsky also took her under his wing. What created Obama and Clinton’s ideology continues to create the far left ideology we’re seeing across the country, and it’s a scary reality.

I also love how the film created a roller coaster of emotions for the viewer. There were parts where there were feelings of despair and anger, hearing about the scary reality of the federal government we’re now dealing with, but this was balanced with the optimism and joy of America’s history of greatness and liberty, and having the optimism to win it back.

If I personally scored this movie on a scale 1 to 10, I give it a huge 10. Everything about the film was excellent, from beginning to finish, and many of us even stayed to watch the end credits, which was also great to watch with pictures and the national anthem being sung. This is a film I hope everyone sees when they have the chance. I can promise you it is well worth the time and you will not regret seeing it.
