National Magazine Deliberately Launched Attack On Christianity At Christmas

So what happens when you couple a failing liberal magazine with a contributor trying to sell a two year old book? Another hit piece on Christians. Leave it to Newsweek to give a good “college try” in the efforts to gin up sales when they make Kurt Eichenwald’s article attacking Christians as their front cover story.  Eichenwald, who also writes for the New York Times, pontificates in true liberal fashion how those of Christian faith are nothing more than “cafeteria Christians” that pick and choose what they want from the menu.

Eichenwald goes further:

This is no longer a matter of personal or private faith. With politicians, social leaders and even some clergy invoking a book they seem to have never read and whose phrases they don’t understand, America is being besieged by Biblical illiteracy. Climate change is said to be impossible because of promises God made to Noah; Mosaic law from the Old Testament directs American government; creationism should be taught in schools; helping Syrians resist chemical weapons attacks is a sign of the end times—all of these arguments have been advanced by modern evangelical politicians and their brethren, yet none of them are supported in the Scriptures as they were originally written.

Liberals like Eichenwald  like to pick and choose how they want to spin their attack on Christians. Whether in liberal publications like Newsweek, billboards or other media venues; atheists like wolves in sheep’s clothing will continue to fiercely criticize a faith in believers they cannot explain. Demanding tolerance from all Christians but quick tempered when signs of faith are shown, atheists are angry agitators.

Eichenwald has made a career of expressing his progressive views as a writer of several books, so this article for Newsweek comes as no surprise. One book called “500 Days” was devoted solely to bashing President George W. Bush and the decision to go to war. You see, for progressive liberals like Eichenwald facts and history are inconsequential to their agenda to mock and ridicule Christians and Christian values. They will take the actions of a handful and with broad strokes paint all Christians in a negative light while they themselves worship at the throne of Al Gore. After all, we have an election coming up in 2016 and next “messiah” for liberals is a toss up between Hillary Clinton or Elizabeth Warren.
