Qatar Extends Travel Ban for Taliban Five – For Now

Qatari officials have announced that they plan to extend the travel ban for the Taliban Five terrorists who were part of a prisoner exchange for Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl in May 2014, according to a senior U.S. official. The five had been captured early on during the war in Afghanistan for their ties to the Taliban, and were considered to be mid-level to top-level leaders in the terrorist organization. The reason for the extension of the travel ban is due to ongoing talks between the U.S., Qatar, and Afghanistan regarding a long-term solution.

I have a suggestion when it comes to a long-term solution, and it comes in a variety of tasty calibers. Perhaps, since three of them have already made contact with some of their old terrorist pals, we can let them go and let death come from above in the form of drone strikes. These walking steam-piles were placed in Gitmo for a reason, so how they meet their end is of no great importance. Khair Ulla Said Wali Khairkhwa, Abdul Haq Wasiq, Mullah Mohammad Fazl, Mohammad Nabi Omari, and Mullah Norullah Nori, are five Taliban terrorists who were traded by our terrorist-friendly President for a traitor. At least six men died looking for Bergdahl, and God only knows how many more based on the information he provided to his “captors.”

Qatari officials claim the Taliban five have been closely monitored and restricted in their travel, yet they are able to contact other members of terrorist organizations. The Qataris are about as trustworthy as a sack of snakes. We had Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi in custody at one time and released him, only to have him form ISIS. What will the results be from releasing the Taliban five, knowing they are leaders of a terrorist organization?
