Red, Right & True w/Elly Maye: Democrats, Start Holding Your Party Accountable

There’s a lot of things this country disagrees on, but the one thing we all have in common is the Constitution.

We elect people to represent us and follow the law, and when they fail to do so, it is our job to hold them accountable. This shouldn’t be a right or left issue. When the lines are blurred constitutionally, whether it’s by a liberal or conservative, it is our civic duty to do something.

Remember, they work for us!

Cliven Bundy took a stand against the overarching, disrespecting, land consuming government, and it sent a strong message to this lawless administration. He represents those of us who believe enough is enough.

It’s unfortunate that we’ve gotten to this point, but let this be a lesson, that this is what happens when our “representatives” no longer represent us or follow the law. We’ve become divided. And a house divided cannot stand.

The Constitution is what allows us to disagree while it holds us together. So when lawmakers stop abiding by it, we run into major conflict. The only way this country will diffuse the tension is by coming together to defend our Constitution. This means holding both Republicans and Democrats accountable, and we need to do so immediately.

I’m only 22 years old and I don’t like where this country is headed. Let’s work together and have the common sense to stop trusting these bureaucrats with our lives, and take back our freedom loving country.

About Ellysa Maye

Hi. I’m Elly Maye. I’m 22, from Minnesota and have pink hair. I write political poetry, make youtube videos, and have a dry sense of humor. I have strong conservative beliefs but don't belong to any political party. I've been sober for over a year now and love Jesus. I don't debate to hate, I fight to unite. So get to know me and let's make this country a better place.
