Rick Perry Sends National Guard To Texas Border

Governor Rick Perry has rightfully taken action on the border crisis. On Monday, the governor announced his plan to send up to one thousand members of the National Guard to the border because Obama continues to sit back and not take action to secure it. Perry’s move is in reaction to a flood of thousands of illegal aliens crossing the border since late 2013.

This crisis has gotten so bad, that Sean Hannity hosted his show a couple weeks ago for 2 days along the border and took a tour with Rick Perry by helicopter, water, and land. I thought it was great feedback for the millions of viewers, because not only just words, but seeing visuals of the border can be quite powerful as well.

Now Perry has every right to authorize the National Guard deployment, but we need to be prepared for any backfire from Obama and the White House. This step by Perry is a huge step in the right direction, but this issue is far from over. There will be a lot of anger from liberals and the mainstream media, so it is up to us to make our voice and support for Perry loud and clear.

As great as Perry’s courage is, there are also 3 other border states that should do the same: California, Arizona, and New Mexico. We can’t expect California to take action, considering Governor Jerry Brown is a far left liberal. However, Governors Susana Martinez and Jan Brewer of New Mexico and Arizona, respectively, are both Republicans and need to follow Rick Perry’s lead immediately. We need to call on them to send the National Guard of their states to the border as well, and hopefully Rick Perry has already given them momentum to do so. Obama doesn’t want to secure the border, so it is up to these governors and us, the American people, to join them in helping to secure our borders.
