Sarah Palin Brought Down the House at CPAC

What a speech! Sarah Pailin was on fire from beginning to end. Here are some of her most memorable quotes (in no particular order):

“It is because of you… that I have never been more optimistic about the future of our one nation, under God. So stand up and stiffen your spine. You gotta fight for it. The best is yet to come,”

“We’re not hear to rebrand a party but to rebuild a country. We’re in the business of digging ourselves out of debt, restoring competitiveness, educating our children, and liberating our potential.”

“If you love your freedom, thank a vet.”

“Liberals think the women in America are cheap dates. Throw in some lines about birth control and they will be yours. Imagine if they treated the men like that,”

“Buck up or stay in the truck!”

“If the boys aren’t up the the challenge, conservative women are happy to lead the charge. Oh this sisterhood SO believes in and respects the powerful and purposeful potential of every woman. So much so that we’re the party that protects even our littlest sisters in the womb.”

“You Didn’t Build That. The Tea Party did.”

“Hope and change became no you can’t log into the website.”

and of course, my personal favorite of the night:

“Mr. President, the only thing that stops a bad guy with a nuke is a good guy with a nuke.”

Unlike any other speaker, Sarah got a thunderous standing ovation at the conclusion of her speech. It’s easy to see why she was chosen to close out the event for the second time in three years.
