As we near September 11, we remember the four brave men (Ambassador Chris Stevens, U.S. Foreign Service Information Management Officer Sean Smith, and former Navy SEALS Glen Doherty and Tyrone Woods) who were killed in a cowardly attack on the consulate in Benghazi, Libya, in 2012. More importantly, we remember the over 3,000 lives lost in four airline crashes (two in the World Trade Center, one at the Pentagon, and one in Shanksville, Pennsylvania, about 20 minutes flight time from Washington DC) on September 11, 2001. With that in mind, there will be a special episode of the Wave Cave this Thursday at 6 AM Eastern. The show will end at 10:30 AM, two minutes after the North Tower collapsed. I will be playing memorial and patriotic songs, as well as relive where I was on September 11, 2001. I will be taking requests of ONLY patriotic and memorial songs during the time, and you can hit me up on Skype ([email protected]), yahoo, ([email protected]), Twitter (@RickBulow1974) and Facebook (http://www.facebook.com/RickBulow1974) with youtube links. If you would like to take part in it, tune into Eclipse Radio (http://www.eclipse-radio.com) and also follow along on Twitter and Facebook using the hashtag #WaveCave911.
