State of New Jersey has a request for Chris Christie and he needs to answer them quickly!

A majority of New Jersey registered voters just told Gov. Chris Christie, he should resign now that he’s officially running for president, say many say he shouldn’t be pushed.

According to the latest Rutgers-Eagleton Poll, 54% polled said Christie should resign as governor. However, roughly 1-in-10 people are not on board with Democratic lawmakers who have introduced legislation that would force him to resign. At least, 52% of that group of voters saying Christie should be allowed to continue to serve.

“New Jerseyans want the governor to resign now that he is officially in the 2016 primary race – but they want him to do it on his own terms,” said Ashley Koning, assistant director of the Eagleton Center for Public Interest Polling.

“While those here at home show little love for Christie or his presidential run, they are nevertheless against his Democratic opposition ousting him from office.”

In a Bloomberg article, Christie shot back saying he’s got it all under control. With the technology of smartphones and Skype, he’s able to remain in touch with his staff, the family at all times.

What do you think? Should Christie resign or continue to work as he is?
