Sen. Ted Cruz took questions during his Good Morning America Town Hall, and one of them was a surprise. A homosexual Republican voter asked him “What will you do to protect my husband and me?”
Cruz responded, “I think that keeping government out of the way of your lives protects the freedom of every one of us.” I don’t think that answered the question. In a way, it kicked the can down the road to someone else which is a problem that keeps rearing its head for Cruz.
In all honesty, this is called lawyer talk. It’s a way to answer the question without answering the question. Politicians do it all the time, but they are quick to blasts those who do answer the question directly. Just a few months ago, Pastor Kevin Swanson who endorsed Cruz had this to say about homosexuals:
Cruz denounced the pastor months later when the video was shared on social media. Do you think Cruz answered Cologne’s question? Share your comments (below) and share this on your media page.
