Before I wrote on this, I wanted to watch to see what the biased media was going to do on this story the last few days, and they didn’t disappoint. They buried the story of how Charles Evers, the brother of slain civil rights activist Medgar Evers, came out Friday in support of Donald Trump for president.
In many circles, this is huge news because of what happened to Evers in the 60s. Evers, a strong advocate for civil rights, was killed in his driveway. The nation mourned this young man’s death as he was buried in Arlington National Cemetary.
Charles, himself a civil rights activist who in 1969 became the first black mayor in Mississippi, Evers backed the GOP front-runner has the business acumen for the job.
“I think he’s the best one right now,” Evers, 93, told The Post. “He’s someone like me: he speaks from the hip. He’s not a politician.”
“We need more and more jobs. Unemployment is way up here,” he said. “He’s hired more employees, more people, than anyone I know in the world.”
Evers even wanted to inform those listening to his endorsement that he doesn’t believe Trump is racist and destroy the Democratic clamp on the black vote.
“I see nothing to show he is a racist,” Evers said. “I don’t want any party to assume they’ve got all the black vote.”
Trump has been misquoted, misunderstood and lied about. There is not a racist bone in his body. He said, correctly, Mexico is sending their worst.” He did not mention ‘Mexicans.” As educated as you seem to be to me, you are very well aware that those crossing the border of Mexico are not all Mexicans. There are plenty of nationalities and races in the mix.
We have been watching the “Trump train” moving along this past couple of months and guessed what…it is DIVERSE, more than the media will give it credit for.
Thank you Mr. Evers, you made the right choice here. I do believe Trump will help bring back jobs like no other president because we need this now, more than ever! I think he will find the right people to help move government out of the way and allow small businesses to thrive and rejuvenate the American spirit.
I hope Obama & the Establishment hear this loud and clear. I could just see their faces turn 50 Shades of Red & Purple!
