Liars, liars and more liars. I have never in all my life seen so many lies told by commentators, media, politicians, newspapers, social media etc, etc., etc., to try to derail and demean and trash the GOP nominee Donald Trump. They are doing this while continuing to cover up for a person that committed numerous felonies
Trump must be doing something right and winning by a large margin, because all I see are thousands and thousands of people flocking to his rallies in support of him.
How anyone can twist what he was saying is beyond me. No one can deal with war and violence everyday and not have some scars, either mentally or physically. Our brave men and women who serve deserve all the support we can give. God bless those who unselfishly serve to protect this great nation.God bless those who have lost loved one.
From Fox News:
The Donald Trump campaign is firing back at the media over a slew of “out-of-context” reports and headlines asserting the Republican nominee took a swipe at veterans suffering from PTSD by suggesting they aren’t “strong” and “can’t handle” the stress of war.
Trump technically said those words during remarks to veterans in Herndon, Va., on Monday. But he did so while addressing how to help veterans suffering post-traumatic stress disorder and prevent military suicides.
“When you talk about the mental health problems, when people come back from war and combat, and they see things that maybe a lot of the folks in this room have seen many times over – and you’re strong and you can handle it – but a lot of people can’t handle it,” Trump said Monday.
He went on to say the country needs more mental health help for veterans and vowed to launch a “very robust” effort.
Soon after, BuzzFeed ran a headline that said: “Trump Suggests That Soldiers With PTSD Aren’t ‘Strong.’”
Many other outlets followed suit. The New York Daily News declared: “Donald Trump sparks outrage by suggesting vets with PTSD aren’t ‘strong’ and ‘can’t handle it.’”
But others jumped to Trump’s defense, saying his remarks here clearly were taken out of context. The campaign circulated a statement from the Marine staff sergeant who originally asked Trump the question about PTSD.
“I think it’s sickening that anyone would twist Mr. Trump’s comments to me in order to pursue a political agenda,” Chad Robichaux, founder of Mighty Oaks Warrior Programs in California, said in the statement. “I took his comments to be thoughtful and understanding of the struggles many veterans have, and I believe he is committed to helping them.”
The media is what’s wrong with this country. I had a person tell me today about this but they only got what the media reported on. The playing field is definitely stacked against Trump! Hillary has a couple aces up her sleeve the media is one for sure!
Allen West says he was at this event and reported early today that what the media is saying is a complete fabrication. Make note, I have not heard one person at this event say anything negative about what Trump said, only the liberal media sponsored by Nazi George Soros is making an issue over this. Any wonder why over 62 percent of American’s don’t trust the media? It’s every bit as bad as the old communist propaganda paper Pravda!
Amazing to see how a person can make a statement about helping veterans and the media can turn it into an insult. This is the reason why everyone should listen to statements rather than some reporters skewed version of what they incorrectly interpret.
One thing I have realized through the years, I am able to see thru the media bullcrap and call out the misinformation while others just go along with the program because they don’t want trouble. Sometimes you have to stir the waters.
