I started out liking Ted Cruz and felt that I could vote for him if Donald Trump didn’t make the cut. I had no problem with him. I held both in high regard for the first months, but as I started having questions about new information I never knew about Cruz and began asking them, I was told I was not a conservative.
Watching the dirty tricks he pulled in the Iowa Caucus on Dr. Ben Carson, lying about it and his supporters grasping straws and pushing the campaign narrative made me pull away even more.
After seeing Cruz’s attack ads on Trump using children, and continuing to lie about the old lady in New Jersey’s losing her house and watching him agree with eminent domain but slamming Trump over the very same thing he is on record as being for makes me see him as a hypocrite. And I do believe that he and his campaign are behind the anti-Trump robocalls being made in South Carolina.
Now after listening to his lying every chance he gets about Trump’s statements on gays, eminent domain and late term abortions has made me loath the guy. I understand political expediency but come on!
You can tell how Cruz’s lying is really getting to Trump in this interview:
I hate a liar and a cheater but when that liar and cheater raises the Bible and proclaims from a church pulpit how Godly and righteous he just makes me despise him to the core of my being! I will never vote for such a vile and vicious person.
