Where is the media? NC campaign workers encourage illegal alien to vote (video)

James O’Keefe’s Project Veritas released a truly horrifying video of what appears to be multiple campaign workers in North Carolina encouraging an undercover illegal alien to vote, leading to the resignation of Greg Amick, former campaign manager for Irwin Carmichael, the Democratic candidate for Mecklenburg County sheriff.

The undercover illegal alien expressed her desire to vote for Kay Hagan, who is running against Republican challenger Thom Tillis.

Where the story was reported, as in this article at the Charlotte Observer, O’Keefe himself was referred to as a “conservative provocateur” and attacked for using “heavily edited” videos.

Ray McKinnon, a vice chairman for the Mecklenburg Democratic Party, defended Greg Amick by saying that he does not believe he “intentionally tried to defraud anyone.”

Greg Amick responded by saying on Facebook in part,

I would never disrespect or attempt to manipulate the process. The video published by Project Veritas Action was intentionally edited to be misleading, and omitted important information from my response.

Amick’s supporters agreed. One man advised Greg to “at worst” tell illegal immigrants that they cannot vote and further lamented,

And I fear it might actually put Greg in jeopardy or already has. This fellow O’Keefe is obviously very unprincipled, despite his self-professed ‘born again’ Christian status. Selective values like those of jihadists … the end justifies the means type rationalizing.

James O’Keefe challenged Hagan on Twitter to respond.

The revelations made in the video have gone vastly unreported by the mainstream media. It is not a stretch to consider that if Project Veritas could manage to find such activity, it exists elsewhere in the country. The mainstream media, however, seems to be very busy denying the existence of voter fraud and referring to Voter ID laws as “racist.”

In North Carolina, a recent “cross-check of 10,000 voters found 1,425 likely non-citizen voters, including 109 illegal immigrants or so-called ‘Dreamers,'” as reported at Fox News.
