During an interview with Matt Laurer for the Today show, Bruce/Caitlyn Jenner denied that he/she did anything wrong in the crash that took another person’s life, despite all the evidence to the contrary. After claiming that he/she was not speeding at the time of the accident, Jenner changed his/her story and said that his/her memories of the crash are very hazy.
“I remember it happening. That’s about it,” Jenner said of the crash, according to Daily Mail. “A tragedy like this, you’ll never get over it. You just learn to live with it the best you possibly can.”
When Laurer asked Jenner about the prospect of going to jail, Jenner revealed what he/she is REALLY afraid of in this case.
“The media wants that picture, don’t they?” Jenner said of his/her potential mugshot, according to Breitbart. “That is the worst-case scenario… The men’s county jail. That’s the scary part. It is an enormous problem that they would put trans women in a men’s county jail.”
It looks like despite all the work he/she’s done for her “transition,” Jenner may end up back with the guys after all! Oh, the irony…
Prosecutors are still deciding whether or not to charge Jenner with vehicular manslaughter for a fatal car accident he/she caused back in February.
