WOW! Leftists Worldwide Upset Over Fox News Muslim Comment, Create #FoxNewsFacts Hashtag

Steve Emerson, who was a guest on Fox News’ show Judge Jeanine, hosted by Jeanine Pirro this weekend, was heavily criticized when he said Birmingham in England was ‘totally Muslim.’ However, it should first be noted that Emerson is an author and expert on Islam, being the executive director of the Investigative Project on Terrorism (IPT). Below is the full video clip.

Afterwards Emerson actually apologized for the remark and made the following statement.

I have clearly made a terrible error for which I am deeply sorry. My comments about Birmingham were totally in error. And I am issuing this apology and correction for having made this comment about the beautiful city of Birmingham. I do not intend to justify or mitigate my mistake by stating that I had relied on other sources because I should have been much more careful. There was no excuse for making this mistake and I owe an apology to every resident of Birmingham.  I am not going to make any excuses. I made an inexcusable error. And I am obligated to openly acknowledge that mistake.  I wish to apologize for all residents of that great city of Birmingham.

He then said he would make a donation to Birmingham’s Children’s Hospital.

However, this didn’t stop all the liberals and haters of Fox News to create uproar on twitter and social media by creating the satirical #FoxNewsFacts hashtag that was trending worldwide. Here are just a few of the tweets.

Unfortunately the double standard continues on. One honest mistake by a guest on Fox News results in a bunch of tweeters going after the entire news organization. Of course the liberal stations like CBS, CNN, ABC, and MSNBC get away with gaffes, including intentional lies, multiple times, but the outrage against them is not nearly up to par.

Just recently, Chris Hayes of MSNBC released a photo of the NAACP bombing on his show. There was just one problem with it: The photo was actually that of a vandalized shop in Paris. Hayes went on to apologize for the mistake, but the uproar over it was nothing compared to the anger over Stevenson’s comments. Just imagine if it was Fox News who gave out an incorrect photo of the NAACP bombing.

Plus look at CNN when they called terrorists of the Charlie Hebdo shooting as ‘activists.’ But because it is a liberal organization, they get a pass. Although conservatives rightfully called them out for it, there wasn’t a worldwide hashtag in response to it.

But if its Fox News, politically correct liberals are listening to every single word said on the station 24/7, looking to complain about any gaffe or word that is made.

One of the many things I love about Judge Jeanine is that she has a backbone and isn’t afraid of political correctness. She focuses on the main issues and doesn’t let a gaffe being exploited by leftists distract her. On twitter, she didn’t mention the gaffe, and still asking the real question everyone wants to know about why Obama never showed up at the Paris march.

This is what we’re really interested in, not a dumb gaffe being obsessed by the politically correct individuals. This is a question the rest of the world should be focusing on as well. And we get it. They hate Fox News and conservatives, so leftists are wasting their time if they’re trying to use a hashtag for attention. Perhaps one of the reasons why Fox News has been dominant and #1 for many years is because they focus on the issues and say it as it is, unlike the other liberal stations. They could learn a thing or two from Fox.
